Top thatch was started in 1989 by Dewald Heiberg at premises in Montana, Pretoria. Dewald already had 30 years’ experience in the thatching industry. Before long he owned several plantations in Mpumalanga and soon after opened a wood treatment plant near Roodeplaat Dam. This way he could treat his own wood thus producing the best prices on treated wood in the area.

Inry Pale & Top thatch currently export to Namibia and Angola as well. The experienced gained over many years has guided us to the selection of services that would best meet our customer’s needs.
